Travel

Please do make your travel arrangements as soon as possible, especially if you will be flying into Ghana.    Both Kenya Airways and South African Airways have been kind enough to agree to provide discounted air fares to delegates who have registered for this conference.  Should you wish to take advantage of these fares, you will need to obtain from the ACU (after you have registered and paid your conference registration fee) a copy of the letter of agreement with the relevant airline, each of which details the rates and routes on which the discounts apply.   Please contact either Irene Costello (i.costello@acu.ac.uk) or Dorothy Garland (d.garland@acu.ac.uk).

Please also check the website of the High Commission for Ghana in your country to see whether you require a visa to enter Ghana -  and apply for it in good time.  If you find you need a visa, and would like a letter from the British Council (Ghana) in support of your application for it, please contact Ms Linda Danso at the British Council in Accra (Linda.Danso@gh.britishcouncil.org).

The conference hotel's website (www.alisa-hotels.com) has some very useful general information about Ghana on its Travel Guide pages.

Please note that each of the three designated conference hotels provides complimentary airport transfers  -  and you are advised to request/arrange your pick-up at the time you make your hotel reservation.   (See Accommodation & Transport for further information.)
